This Privacy Policy explains how ForexPilot AI ("we", "the app") collects, uses and protects your information when you use our website and Android application.

1. Information we collect

Account data: your email address and a securely hashed password when you register.
App content you create: your trade journal entries, saved signals, tracked trades and app preferences (favourite market, risk level, experience).
Local settings: theme, notification and refresh preferences are stored only on your device.

We do not collect your name, phone number, location, contacts, photos, or any payment/broker credentials. ForexPilot AI is not connected to any broker and cannot place trades or access your trading account.

2. How we use your information

To create and secure your account and keep your journal and trades separate from other users.
To personalise the app to your selected preferences.
To operate, maintain and improve the service.

We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising. We do not share it with third parties for marketing.

3. Market data

Price and market data are sourced from public providers (Yahoo Finance, gold-api.com, Forex Factory news feed). This is general market information and is not tied to your personal identity.

4. Data storage & security

Passwords are stored only as PBKDF2 hashes — never in plain text. Data is stored on our secure cloud server (Railway) and transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections.

5. Data retention & deletion

We keep your account data until you delete it. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Delete Account in the app, or via our web page: forexpilot-signals-production.up.railway.app/delete-account. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.

6. Children

ForexPilot AI is intended for users aged 18 and over and is not directed at children.

7. Not financial advice

All signals, scores and analysis are for education and decision-support only. They are not personalised financial or investment advice and carry no guarantee of profit. Trading involves substantial risk of loss.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the latest revision.
